Resurfacing College Avenue in Fort Collins Starts Monday

Say it with me, finally! Yes construction zones can be a pain, but this was in desperate need of being done. Starting Monday, resurfacing for College Avenue begins.

As the Coloradoan reported, it will take months to complete but it at least starts! The stretch on College Avenue between Mulberry and Harmony will begin the resurfacing project.

This project is estimated to take about six months to complete with a $11.5 million price tag.

With a break in the winter time, the crews will be working this year to repair the road, curb, gutter and sidewalk concrete in preparation for the resurfacing work.

So how bad did this need to be done? To give you an idea the last time major work  was done on this road was 20 years ago. Yeah, I think it was time.
