You can save a spot along the parade route for the Greeley Stampede 4th of July Parade, but there are some rules.

The City of Greeley Culture, Parks and Recreation Department will be conducting maintenance, including areas along the parade route, up until Monday, July 3rd.  Please refrain from reserving any spaces until after 2:30pm on Monday, July 3rd.

It is advised that any type of tape, strings attached to stakes, tarps, plastic, or blankets are not placed on the grass, sidewalks, or solid surfaces. They become tripping hazards and cause damage to grass and solid surfaces. In addition, these items impede Park staffs’ ability to continue with maintenance and will be removed.

You may use chalk instead when marking spaces on sidewalks and solid areas but nothing on the grassy areas.

When and Where is the Parade?

The parade runs north along 10th Avenue starting at the University of Northern Colorado campus at 19th Street and ending on 5th Street beyond Lincoln Park. The parade kicks off at 9 a.m. sharp on Tuesday, July 4th and will be led by this year’s Grand Marshals.
