Remembering Johnny Carson – Brian’s Blog

Just as I think of Elvis as the king of rock and roll, I think of Johnny Carson as the king of late of night TV. I quit watching the night talk shows when Johnny retired. I don't feel anyone has come close to what he did. Johnny passed away on this date in 2005 at the age of 79. When we were young we were allowed to stay up each night until Johnny was done with his monologue. That was always a time for us all to gather and laugh. We would even set up our sleeping bags on the floor in my parents bedroom and watched Johnny. He is the reason I wanted to get into this business. Thank you for all the laughs Johnny.
