Red Table Cafe was supposed to be moving and expanding this year; but it looks like that may no longer be happening.

The Coloradoan reports the deal to open the new Red Table Publick House in the OtterBox building at 331 S. Meldrum St. may have fallen through.

Blue Ocean Enterprises, owner of the building at 331 S. Meldrum St., is actively looking for a restaurant to put into the 3,000 square-foot space, said Bridget Richards, director of communications for the firm...adding that she did not know why Red Table hadn’t worked out.

The new Red Table Publick House was supposed to seat around 80 (many more than the old location at 224 Linden St.), serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and feature a full bar.

Do you think we've seen the last of Red Table, or do you think it will find a new home?  Let us know in the comments.
