The summer line-up at Red Rocks Amphitheatre continues to fill with can't-miss concerts, and be sure to mark your calendar for the most recently announced event – the first ever Red Rocks Beer Festival, featuring three big name rock bands. On Sunday, August 19, more than 50 regional and national breweries will take part in the Red Rocks Beer Festival, setting up shop in the upper north parking lot of the venue. Food trucks will also be parked in this area, serving up local fare for purchase. The beer fest goes from 3-5 p.m., with VIP ticket holders receiving 2 p.m. early access.

Besides food and drinks, the Red Rocks Beer Festival includes live music from Stone Temple Pilots, Bush, and ‘80s British rock band, The Cult. They'll all be performing on the main amphitheater stage following the parking lot festivities. Doors to the concert open at 5 p.m.

Tickets for the Red Rocks Beer Festival go on sale Friday, April 6 at 10 a.m. at LiveNation.comAXS.com, www.RedRocksBeerFestival.com or by phone at 888-929-7849. A general admission ticket gets you entry to the beer festival and the concert, or you can just buy a pass to the concert. However, there's no option just to attend only the beer festival. There are also VIP tickets, which get you into both the concert and festival, along with access into a private lounge and other perks. For more information, check out the festival's FAQ page.
