A man in Red Feather Lakes was arrested on child porn charges in Fort Collins on Wednesday.

According to The Coloradoan, Eli Traufield, 43, was previously investigated by the FBI on the same charges. He was arrested on a courtesy hold for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which indicates charges have not yet been filed.

Traufield was taken to Larimer County Jail where he was placed without bond. As of Thursday afternoon, however, he was no longer listed at the jail. The Coloradoan speculates he could have been transferred to another facility or was released.

Back in 2013, Traufield faced charges of possessing 350 illegal marijuana plants along with 61 1/2 pounds of marijuana in a north Fort Collins facility. The FBI was also investigating him for "serious charges involving child pornography," per Coloradoan archives. At the time, he owned a dispensary in Fort Collins called Earthly Elements. His drug charges were dismissed after he pleaded guilty in a separate drug case in 2011.
