When the temps drop and the snow flies there is noting better than comfort food and no matter what you consider comfort food, I'm sure you could agree meatballs and brown gravy and definitely warm you up.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

1/2 pound of hamburger, 1/2 pound of ground pork, 1/2 cup uncooked white rice, 2 eggs, s/p to taste, dash of garlic powder, a shake or two of Worcestershire sauce and an 8oz can of tomato sauce.

PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER:

Blend the pork and hamburger, gently, if you work the meat too much the meatballs will be dense and heavy. Add in the rest of the ingredients and mix by fluffy the mixture together with your fingertips, essentially. Use and ice cream scooper, if you have one to make uniformed meatballs, place on baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes.

You can make your own brown gravy by sauteing a small diced onion and a handful of mushroom sliced in butter till soft and add beef base and water or just open up a jar of your favorite gravy, serve with rice and a pool of gravy.
