Who doesn't like biscuits? They're so flexible and can turn into anything. Try these recipe rescue refrigerator biscuit bombs with soup, they're perfect mates.

REFRIGERATOR BISCUIT BOMBS

  • 1 can of biscuits
  • 1 8oz block of cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 4 slices of deli ham, chopped
  • melted butter and kosher salt

Lay each biscuit out on a lightly floured surface and press out with your fingertips. Place on cube of cheese and a pinch of ham in the center and fold the biscuit into itself. Place on greased baking sheet seam down and bake at 375 until golden brown.

When the biscuits are golden brown remove them from the oven and brush with melted butter then sprinkle with kosher salt.

Serve with soup or enjoy as an appetizer.

***these go really well with a yummy cream of potato soup. For potato soup boil 4 medium potatoes till fork tender, drain half of the liquid, add heavy cream, salt and pepper and mash down the potatoes till you have a creamy mixture. If you want, add 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled cooked bacon, top with scallions and serve.
