Who says quick and convenient has to be flavorless? This holiday season sparks up with a shot of flavor in between gift shopping, wrapping,  holiday plays and parties.

The best meals in a hurry are the ones you can throw in one pot and essentially forget about it until you're hungry. And if you think about it, just about anything you can imagine can be treated this way.

Today we're grabbing a large stew/stock pot and browning some hamburger, ground turkey or even ground chicken-that's our base. Ready, Set, Go!

What You'll Need:

1 lb ground beef, turkey or chicken
2 cans of cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom if you prefer
1 soup can of milk
1 tsp beef base or 2 beef bouillon cubes (beef base is really the way to go)
1 frozen pkg of mixed veggies (about 10oz)
1 tsp ea. season all, garlic powder and ground pepper
1 medium onion, diced -optional, if using throw in with the ground meat when browning
1 bag of egg noodles, not the family sized gigantic bag

Putting It All Together:

brown the meat in a large pot, if using onion add it now also season the meat while
browning. once the meat is almost done add the soups, milk and beef base and stir
until the soups and beef base are fully incorporated then add the veggies and noodles-
the noodles do not have to be cooked prior to adding them to the dish. Stir, cover and simmer
on medium low until you are ready to eat. Serve with a salad and bread or just as it is
out of the pot.
