Recipe Rescue: From Doreen’s Friend Sue, Crock Pot Lasagna!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
2 lbs hamburger, 2 jars of marinara sauce, 1 box uncooked lasagna noodles, 2 lb tub of Ricotta cheese, 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, 1 egg (beaten), Italian seasoning to taste and fresh baby spinach.
PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER:
Brown and drain hamburger, add marinara sauce and simmer for 20 minutes. In the meantime, combine in a bowl the Ricotta, Mozzerella, egg and Italian seasoning- mix well, spray the crock pot with cooking spray and layer the hamburger mix, uncooked noodles, cheese mixture, spinach and repeat, end with remaining meat and cheese. Cook on low for 3 hours (any longer and noodles will be overdone)
Sue says that if you aren’t a fan of Ricotta cheese you can use a 16oz tub of cottage cheese and 2 cups mozzarella.
