Recipe Rescue: Chili Dog Casserole That’ll Have You Howling at the Moon
How easy of an idea is this, love hot dogs, love chili… this is what that tv chef would call a winner winner chicken, but there’s no chicken.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
1 pkg of Johnsonville Smoked Grilling Links-Bedder with Cheddar, cooked on grill till casing is crisp or on the stove top in a hot skillet and chopped into bite-sized pieces, 3 cans of your favorite canned chili (I like no beans for this but beans are good too), shredded cheddar cheese, raw diced onions and a pkg of grands biscuits (separated and rolled out a little, you can even just press them out with your fingertips) If you’d rather use tater tots, go for it!
PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER:
Place the brat pieces in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish, add the chili, top with cheddar cheese and lay the biscuits out on top (or the tater tots) and bake until the biscuits are brown and cooked through. Serve with the raw onions and whatever else you like on your chili dog.
