It may seem like I am a bit obsessed and I likely am, but hey it's summer and that means grilling and thing's on a stick.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

1 Pkg of chili cheese dogs, 1 pkg of jiffy cornbread mix, a large pot, wooden skewers and canola oil for frying

PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER:

Mix the jiffy mix, about a cup with an egg and enough milk to make a loose batter, stick your dogs with the skewers, dip in batter and put in fryer or deep heavy pot (I use my cast iron dutch oven) cut till browned and drain on a plate lined with paper towels or paper grocery bags.

For added fun serve with nacho cheese sauce or cheddar cheese soup for dippin'
