bacon tart

Okay, my picture is a bit extreme, but wow... a bacon pie, yummy!

What You'll Need:

First and foremost you'll need patience not to eat all of the prepared bacon before you finish assembling the bacon tart. Tart or pie, I say if its filled with bacon who cares. So enough drooling, let's get back on track. You'll need a pound of bacon, four Roma tomatoes, a bunch of watercress, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and a tube of original breadsticks, do not separate.

Putting it all Together:

Grease a pie or tart pan with non-stick cooking spray and mold the breadsticks into the baking dish forming it to fit. Bake according to instructions and let cool. Cook, Cool and Crumble the bacon... slice the tomatoes and broil them for 5 minutes-turning once and cool to room temp... line the breadstick crust with tomatoes, top with bacon crumbs and cheese and repeat until you have used all the bacon, cheese and tomatoes... bake at 350 degrees for 15-17 minutes remove from oven once golden brown and bubbly... let set on countertop for two minutes before topping with watercress... you can sprinkle a little cheese on top, even add a few bacon pieces and finely chopped tomatoes... for a fun addition try adding fresh cubed avocado.

Now... say YUM! :P
