When you can spend a few minutes at the stove and then walk away till dinner, how cool is that. This recipe is simple and the kids will love it.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

1 pound of hamburger, 1 can of cheddar cheese soup, ketchup/mustard, 2 cans of crescent rolls and 6 cooked slices of bacon (crumbled)

PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER:

Brown the hamburger (with onion if you like) and drain off the fat. Line a greased 9x13 baking dish with one layer of the crescent rolls (1 package, keep the triangles together so that you have a "sheet" of the dough) Put the hamburger on top of the crescent roll (you can cook the bottom layer of dough for about 7 minutes before adding the beef), top the beef with the crumbled bacon, ketchup and mustard, I just use the bottles and kind of make a zig-zag design of each from one end to the other, then top this with a can of cheddar cheese soup, use a rubber spatula to evenly smooth out the ingredients, but don't mix with the meat. Top it off with the other package of crescent rolls, if you want to get wild you can either top this with tater tots or make them the bottom layer to create a cheeseburger and "fries" hot dish. Bake at 375 until the crust is golden brown serve with homemade or frozen fries OR tater tots. :)

Enjoy!
