Ram Fans to Help Paint the Colorado State University “A”

This year only, CSU is offering the opportunity to paint the "A" to Alumni Association members, so my wife and I have volunteered. The first home football game is scheduled a week earlier than usual, so not as many freshman students are available to paint. As a result, they need any proud Ram fans who are interested to get the A ready for the first kickoff of the season!

The painting event is Saturday, August 19. All volunteers will meet at Moby Arena. Sign up for a shift today! Space is limited.

Shift 1

• 8 a.m. | Check-in at Moby
• 8:30 a.m. | Departure
• 9-10:30 a.m. | Paint the A
• 11 a.m. | Return to Moby

Shift 2

• 9:30 a.m. | Check-in at Moby
• 10 a.m. | Departure
• 10:30 a.m.-noon | Paint the A
• 12:30 p.m | Return to Moby

Shift 3

• 11 a.m. | Check-in at Moby
• 11:30 a.m. | Departure
• Noon-1:30 p.m. | Paint the A
• 2 p.m. | Return to Moby

What is Expected

There are three shifts available for volunteers. Each shift is approximately 2.5 hours. Volunteers must use provided transportation from Moby Arena and must stay for the duration of their shift. Expect to help with painting the A, refilling supplies, and cleanup. The A is not accessible, and volunteers will complete a short hike in order to reach the A for painting. Participants must be 18 years or older.
