Product Recall — Colorado Stores Are Pulling Spices Reported to Have Undeclared Peanuts
The Colorado Department of Health and Environment announce a recall of spices at stores in Colorado and nationwide. The spices in question are reported to have undeclared peanuts in them. A smoothie blend has also made the recall list.
The CDPHE says that Archer Farms ground Cumin in the six ounce glass bottle, 2.8 oz package with the lot #3381-403F and "best by" date of 05June2017, has been recalled at all Target stores nationwide because of an undeclared allergen: peanuts.
The spice is also sold at The Fresh Market.
The CDPHE has also issued a recall of Fresh Start Smoothie Blend in the 48 oz packages and Fresh Start Sunrise Refresh Fusion and fresh Start Daily Power Fusion Products in 35 oz packages all sold at Costco and/or Wal-Mart. The smoothie blend may contain Listeria monocytogenes.
