Poudre School District Looking for New, Unused Backpacks

Poudre School District students need backpacks and you can help with donating a new, unused backpack on January 30th. The Coloradoan along with the Poudre School District will be hosting a backpack drive from 9a – 12n on Jan. 30^th at the Coloradoan Community Room at 1300 Riverside Ave, Fort Collins.  The backpacks in most need are for high school students.  These backpacks will help high-school aged kids district-wide who already receive free or reduced lunches due to their families’ limited income. Below Beth Higgins from PSD talks about why the need has gotten increasingly greater the past few years.
