This seems like it is a flashback to the early '90s when there was a problem with kids eating vitamins because they tasted and looked like candy, except worse.

Just this year since retail marijuana started selling Jan.1, there has already been an increase in edible consumption from kids. Kids are getting confused and thinking that the edibles, that come in the form of cookies and candy, are sweet treats for them and they are eating them. From January to April just this year, 9 kids have already been treated for edible illnesses.

7 News did a survey among kids to see if they could tell the difference between regular treats and ones that have pot in them.
