Police need your help in tracking down two people accused of stealing things out of mothers' cars when they drop their kids off at day care! At least six cases have the same MO in Longmont, but many more have been reported across Northern Colorado.

According to the Daily Times-Call, there have been six cases in Longmont, with reports also coming from Lafayette, Broomfield, Brighton, Thornton, Evans, Loveland and Greeley, of similar crimes.

Investigators believe Christopher Ureste, also known as Danny Montiel, of Greeley and Bianca Montiel, also known as Destiny Lucero, who is also believed to be in the Greeley or Evans area, sit outside day cares and wait for parents to leave their vehicles with their children.

The crooks steal credit cards and purses from inside the cars while the moms go inside, and at least one of the thefts happened while a child was still inside a vehicle. They have made thousands of dollars of fraudulent purchases at nearby stores with the stolen cards.

The suspects were last seen in a gray Jeep Cherokee (2005-2010), with dark, tinted windows and a Colorado temporary tag.
