Make plans for Saturday, July 18 to help raise funds for the recovery of Michelle Wilkins and to honor 'Baby Aurora.' Super sad situation and I highly encourage participation.

It was on Wednesday morning, March 18, Michelle Wilkins was violently attacked in her home. During the brutal attack, her 7-month-old baby girl was cut from her womb. A story like this is just unimaginable and something you'd only expect in a Stephen King movie, yet it happened to Michelle just down the road in Longmont, Colorado.

I can't even imagine.

The Longmont community has come to her side and helping with all they can including financial and mental support and if you would like to help, here is a great way of doing that.

There is going to be a poker run and ride to honor Michelle and Baby Aurora on Saturday, July 18. There is no official registration fee as it will all be done by donations only. Registration will take place at High Country Harley-Davidson (3761 Monarch Street) in Frederick. Stop will include Oskar Blues in Lyons, the Aspen Lodge on highway 7 and the American Legion in Estes Park which will also be a lunch stop. The run then goes down Big Thompson canyon and into Masonville at Nostalgic West and ends at the Anheuser Busch Beirgarten.

Lunch is included for all participants and a silent auction will be take place at the last stop starting about 4:00 p.m. and all cards must be turned in by 6:30 p.m. Patches and window decals are also included with your donation. Please keep in mind, this is not about motorcycles and EVERYONE is encourage to attend. If you belong to a car club, get them involved too and by all means, share this with everyone you know who owns ANYTHING with a motor.
