Plane Crash Reported in Wellington-UPDATED

Details are just coming out and there is little we know at this moment, but we do know that emergency authorities are responding to an aircraft crash.

In a report from the Coloradoan at this hour emergency vehicles are responding to a plane  crash east of I-25 near County Road 3 and Pelican Cove Lane in Wellington.

We are currently trying to get more details and will update you here as soon as that information is available.

UPDATED INFORMATION:

It seems as though the aircraft that went down earlier today was an ultralight on a mission gone bad. The operator of the ultralight was not injured, maybe slightly embarrassed, but he is well. According to the Coloradoan when emergency personnel arrived the pilot was already trying to load the aircraft onto a trailer.
