A 24-year-old Pierce woman has been named Miss Rodeo Colorado 2017. Kelsie Winslow  will begin her reign  on January 1, so she begins with the title of MRC Lady-in-Waiting. Miss Rodeo Colorado 2016, Madelaine Mills, will complete her reign at the end of the year.

Kelsie was the winner of the Speech, Appearance, and Personality Awards and was also Awarded Congeniality by her fellow contestants at the 95th Annual Greeley Stampede.  Sierra Knodle of Evergreen was 1st runner up and the winner of the Horsemanship competition.

 About Kelsie

Kelsie Winslow is the 24 year-old daughter of Joe and Leslie Winslow. A proud Pierce, Colorado native, Kelsie was the Colorado High School Rodeo Queen in 2009. She served as President of the UK Western Equestrian Team and worked with ESPNU Campus Connection while attending the University of Kentucky. With a degree in broadcast journalism, Kelsie plans to have a career in sports broadcasting and develop her own production company. She spends her spare time running half-marathons, collecting vintage vinyl records, reading, volunteering at a therapeutic riding center, attending Thoroughbred horse races, and cheering on her favorite sports teams.
