It was reported that a physical confrontation between two adult males had escalated to the point where one man fired a single shot from a handgun striking the other man in the torso.  A 55-year-old Red Feather Lakes man was transported by air to a local hospital where he is being treated.  His condition is unknown.

The 68-year-old male, also of Red Feather Lakes, who fired the shot, has been cooperative with law enforcement and is being interviewed.  He has not been arrested.
