A new golf course designed by PGA pro Fred Funk is being built in Windsor.  The 18-hole RainDance National Golf Club will be located less than three miles west of the 27-hole Pelican Lakes Golf and Country Club.

The 2005 Players Championship winner and three-time Champions Tour major winner, will be at Pelican Lakes in Windsor at 12 p.m., Monday, May 26 to talk about why he decided to make RainDance National his first design.

Funk will  drive the first ball off the No. 1 tee box of the front nine at Pelican Lakes. He will also be available to sign autographs and pose for pictures for the public.

RainDance National Golf Club will be the crown jewel of the 2,792-lot RainDance master planned community located directly west of the 2,000-lot Water Valley master planned community in Windsor between Weld County Road 13 on the west, the Cache la Poudre River on the north, the Pelican Hills subdivision on the east and Crossroads Blvd. on the south.
