Recently we had the chance to spend some time with Rodney Atkins at Cheyenne Frontier Days and also at the Make it Rain Concert to benefit the victims of the High Park Fire.  In Cheyenne we had the opportunity to see inside Rodney's tour bus. We were surprised to find out who is always on his bus when he travels.

It’s National Night Out, Are You Having a Block Party?

Some of my fondest childhood memories come from right in front of my house. We didn’t necessarily live in the nicest part of town, but we were extremely blessed with the neighbors that chose the same neighborhood as us. It was a nightly thing to get out, kids and adults alike, to play street hockey, but one Tuesday night a year we did it big. National Night Out was always a highlight of my summer. Tonight several neighborhood block parties are scheduled to celebrate the 29th annual event.

Rockies Rally, But Fall To Cardinals 9-6

After falling behind early, the Colorado Rockies (37-65) rallied to take the lead in the sixth, only to see former Rockie Matt Holliday's seventh inning homer give the visiting St. Louis Cardinals (56-48) the lead for good, en route to a 9-6 win. The final game of the series is tonight at 6:40 at Coors Field (TV: Root Sports).

Make It Rain - A Benefit for the Victims of the High Park Fire was a huge success! Between 6 and 7 thousand people packed into the area behind the Budweiser Events Center at the Ranch on Thursday, July 26th for a magical evening featuring 6 Nashville acts!

The Make It Rain Concert- Watch the Video!

What an event.  TheMake It Rain concert on July 26th at The Ranch was truly amazing.  Figures are still coming in, but it looks like the concert and the online auction raised nearly $50,000 to help the victims of the High Park Fire and the volunteer fire departments the fought the fire.

Our friend Drew Bankston filmed the event that day/evening.

Make It Rain Was A Huge Success – Brian’s Blog

Words cannot express my gratitude to all who showed up for the Make It Rain concert last night. I am so proud to live in Northern Colorado. We had at least 5000-7000 country music fans screaming at the top of their lungs. We will get a count of the money raised in the next few days. There were so many magical moments and performances.
