With all the success that New Belgium has seen on the national level, you would think that they would be the first craft brewer from Colorado to be distributed to all 50 states. That’s not the case, now that Oskar Blues Brewery has struck a new distribution deal.

They’re not at 50 just yet, missing just ONE state- which one?

Maybe it’s their ‘Can’-do attitude that’s put them so close to the top!  Oskar Blues Brewing began in 1999 out of Lyons. They became the first craft brewer to package their beer in cans, in 2002. To this day, they ONLY package in cans (and kegs); you can’t get a bottle of Dale’s Pale Ale or any of their other outstanding beers.

Oskar Blues ships their beers across the nation currently, to 46 of the 50 states.  They just made a distribution deal that will now put them in 49 out of 50 states.

Montana is the ONE state that they’ll not be in, once this new distribution deal begins. According to Oskar Blues though, good ol’ ‘Big Sky Country’ will hopefully be joining the team soon, making Oskar Blues the FIRST Colorado craft brewer to be distributed to all 50 states!

So soon, we'll be able to make a massive road trip across the U.S. to enjoy their beer all over America!

Great job, Guys!
