After trailing 3-1 in the NBA first round best-of-seven series, the Denver Nuggets have rallied to win two straight, including last night's 113-96 victory in Denver, over the Los Angeles Lakers to force a deciding Game 7 tomorrow night in Los Angeles at the Staples Center at 8:30 MT (TV: Altitude/TNT).

Ty Lawson scored a playoff career-high 32 points, Corey Brewer had 18 points for the Nuggets. Kobe Bryant overcame a stomach ailment to score a team-high 31 points and Andrew Bynum had 11 points and 16 rebounds for the Lakers.

Any thoughts of a comeback by L.A. ended in the first few minutes of the third quarter. Denver led by nine at halftime and scored the first nine of the third quarter to go up 18. The Lakers never made it a game after that.

The Nuggets last Game 7 was against Utah in the 1994 Western Conference semifinals. They trailed that series 3-0 before winning three straight to force the Game 7.
