NSFW – Larimer County Inmate Throws Feces in String of Jail Disturbances
The Larimer County Sheriff's Office corrections deputies dealt with multiple inmate disturbances last week, including an incident involving bodily excretions.
According to a press release from LCSO, the string of disturbances on Thursday, April 7, began with inmate Nicholas Randall Goldsberry, 20, who became belligerent and uncooperative after being told he could not participate in a program.
Shortly afterward, jail staff were informed by someone from outside the facility of a female inmate that had made threats of self-harm. The uncooperative inmate was escorted to the booking area when another disturbance occurred in the intake pod.
When corrections deputies announced that all inmates in the intake pod were to return to their bunks, one inmate, Kurtis Lee Crabb, 23, became belligerent with deputies and refused to take orders and instead walked to a different area of the pod.
Immediately after deputies removed Crabb from the intake pod, multiple inmates told deputies they did not have to follow directions in a manner that was consistent with inciting a riot. Additional deputies responded to remove the inmates and escort them to booking.
In the process, inmate Marcus D. McCarver, 29, was taken to the ground and placed in restraints after he physically resisted. After he continued to resist, McCarver was secured in a restraint chair. Inmates Jonathan Michael Comeau, 24, Randolph Ross Boline, 37, and Jesse Gabriel Autrand, 37, were also removed from the intake pod after they refused orders.
Meanwhile in booking, an inmate began throwing feces and urine after flooding his cell. The inmate was eventually moved to another cell after calming down.
Deputies are screening these incidents with the Larimer County District Attorney's Office for potential criminal charges against several of these inmates involved in the disturbances.
