The people of Northern Colorado never cease to amaze me. Today, even with the nasty weather, you all came together to raise over $5,000 for Honor Flight Northern Colorado.

My 10,000 mile Endurance Ride for Honor Flight Northern Colorado is coming up in less than a month now. In fact, I will be rolling out of town the morning on Thursday, June 4 2015. The goal on this last attempt is $50,000 to send 50 of our local veterans to Washington D.C. to see their memorial and monuments built to honor their service to our great nation.

That goal though can't be met without the help of all of us, collectively, here in Northern Colorado; the bill for those flights have to be paid by somehow. There isn't a magic fairy that just makes it happen.

Today I did a live broadcast at the Windsor 7-11 on Main and 7th to raise money that all goes towards hitting my $50,000 goal and boy did many of you step up today. In just two hours, even with the nasty weather, we raised $5,195. Part of that money came from the Windsor 7-11 which has raised $1200 and the Erie and Frederick 7-11 stores that have also raised $1200, but just today, from all of you who came in to donate, we raised $2,795 in just two hours!

OUTSTANDING and kuddos to you all!

We still need your help however as the ride is still short about $13,000 to hit that $50,000 goal so we still need your help by sponsoring some miles. It's $1 per mile and you can sponsor as many or as little as you can afford. To sponsor miles, just send an email to cb@k99.com and I will walk you through the very easy process or click here to automatically open your email. You can also click on the big red link below to learn how to easily sponsor some miles.

There will also once again be a GPS tracker for those who are interested in tracking the progress of the ride. That link is directly below so keep it handy if you want to track the ride via my GPS tracker.
