Northern Colorado Breweries Medal at Great American Beer Festival

Over the weekend beer makers and connoisseurs joined in Denver for some sweet, sweet suds-filled fun.

The Great American Beer Festival was founded in 1982 and is the premier U.S. beer festival and competition. Each year, the GABF has the largest collection of U.S. beer for public tasting and private competition. Brewers from around the world come to compete and see if their beer can take the top prize.

Northern Colorado has earned the distinction of being the "Napa Valley of Beer" and there was no shortage of winners in different categories from Northern Colorado breweries.
