North Dakota Twin Girls Play Hockey in Sochi Tomorrow

The 2014 Winter Olympic games began today!  I’ll be cheering for North Dakota natives, hockey players Monique and Jocelyne Lamoureux as they take to the ice on February 8th against Finland!

The 24-year-old Lamoureux girls learned hockey playing with their 4 older brothers on a frozen lagoon in Grand Forks, ND. They play just like the big boys do.  Occasionally fights break out and the girls have been know to join in the brawl to stand up for themselves and teammates.

The real battle is to win the gold medal for Team USA…Team Canada got it in 2010.
