Niwot School Closed Today Because of Threats
Threats against Niwot High School have forced school administrators to cancel classes today. The Boulder County Sheriff recommended closure because of two threats against students this week. A threat that the school was “going to blow on the 11th” was scrawled on a bathroom stall Monday. Then Thursday‘s threat was a ‘hit list’ that contained names of 30 students . The Longmont Times Call says many on the list were athletes. At this point, the school is scheduled to reopen Monday.

The Greeley Stampede is coming up, and you know what that means. Corndogs, cowboy hats, concerts, and cars. One of the best parts of the 10-day festival is the demolition derby. Hundreds (yes, hundreds) of drivers will partake in the destructive chaos. This year's demolition derby will take place on July 7th at 2:00 PM, and tickets cost $20-25.
