Another major road project along 20th Street in West Greeley will last through September. Plans are also being finalized for major revisions all the way to 86th Avenue.

One of the new projects along 20th Street is between 71st and 74th Avenue. The construction there will most likely last until last September. If you use this section of road a lot, you may want to consider an alternate route.

The City of Greeley Public Works department also recently announced they are in the final stages of designing portions of 20th Street from 74th to 86th Avenue. The idea is to improve the two lane rural road and plans should be done by the end of 2015 to be ready for construction in 2016.

The City of Greeley Comprehensive Master Plan has classified this road as an arterial which requires four lanes, curb, gutter, sidewalk, median, bike lanes and lighting. The remainder of the roadway will be improved in phases over several years as funding is available.
