This could be the weekend to stay warm and dry in a movie theater. You in? October is here, and with it comes a host of thrills and frights. This week we’ve got a mix of both and a little something for the whole family.
Tim Burton returns with ‘Frankenweenie,’ an animated feature about a young boy who brings his beloved dead dog back to life, with disastrous results.
‘Taken 2′ stars Liam Neeson as a man with a very particular set of skills, and this time out he’s gotta use them not only to save his daughter, but also himself and his wife.
In ‘Butter,’ Jennifer Garner’s butter-carving-champion husband decides to give up his crown, and she’ll have to fight his mistress and a very talented little girl to get it back.
‘V/H/S’ is a new horror anthology and found-footage thriller featuring five scary stories “found” on old VHS tapes.
‘The Paperboy’ stars Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron in the tale of a reporter who returns to his hometown to investigate a murder involving a death-row inmate.
