Pop artist Ke$ha may have dropped her dollar sign, but Ryan Folle$e picked it up at the Boot Grill.

I think he also may have set a record for tightest pants I've seen at a country show since Dan + Shay at Habajeeba 2015.

Hey, it's Shelby (the girl that argues with Todd) from K99's sister station. It's kind of fun for me to get to write a guest post for K99, because I know New From Nashville artist Ryan Follese as the frontman of the pop/rock band, Hot Chelle Rae.

Though it was surprising to me to hear that Follese was now a solo country artist, when he shared his story about being raised in Nashville by two country songwriters at the show tonight, it made a little more sense.

His dad wrote Tim McGraw's 'Something Like That' and Faith Hill's 'The Way You Love Me.' Kind of a big deal -- I mean, I know almost every word to those songs. They were both on Follese's New From Nashville setlist tonight, along with his new radio single, 'Put a Label on It.'
