New From Nashville at The Boot Grill – Todd’s Favorite Five

The Northern Colorado Auction is underway. It wraps up on Wednesday, April 22 at 7 p.m. You have the opportunity to bid on entertainment packages, health and beauty procedures, retail gift cards, auto packages, and other big ticket items.

My favorite item in the auction is a Private Party Package at The Boot Grill in Loveland.

The Boot Grill offers one private party in the private upstairs room. Package includes heavy and hearty appetizers, non-alcoholic beverages, rental fee and tip. The Boot Grill's party room features an outside patio with a fire pit and plenty of room for up to 50 guests to mingle.

 

I love the Boot Grill. I love the food. I love the people. I love the entertainment, especially our New From Nashville Series.  I have chosen my five favorite New From Nashville performances. Note:  I did not include Rodney Atkins and Joe Nichols, because they are established Nashville stars, not newbies.

5. Cassadee Pope

Cassadee Pope came to The Boot Grill in July of 2013. To this day we have never had more people packed into The Boot for a New From Nashville. "The Voice" fans were there in full force and she delivered. She is an amazing talent and really knew how to treat the fans. It was her idea to do the pic with the crowd.

4. Dan + Shay

Just one month after Cassadee visited Loveland, Dan + Shay were introduced to Northern Colorado. The moment I heard Shay's voice, I knew he would be a star. Dude has a special gift and he shared it with all of us at The Boot Grill. Dan is not bad either.

3. The Cadillac Three

This is one that caught me off guard. I had no idea I would love The Cadillac Three as much as I did. In April of 2015 they blew the roof off The Boot Grill. They did an acoustic set that was amazing.  These are the guys that wrote "Meanwhile Back at Mamma's" for Tim McGraw and "Beachin" for Jake Owen. They are the band I could sit and listen to all day.  We loved them so much we hired them for our Habajeeba Show!

2. Drake White

Drake White has been part of our New From Nashville series a couple of times.  He is amazing. Earlier this month he hit The Boot and won over the room in no time.  I don't think I have ever seen a more dynamic performer and I have seen over 500 concerts in my career.  His new single is called "It Feels Good" and it does feel good to watch Drake perform. You really have to see him live to fully appreciate his passion and energy he brings to the stage.

1. Maggie Rose

Maggie Rose was one of our very early New From Nashville Shows.  In August of 2012 she brought her entire band to The Boot Grill. She was amazing. Her band was amazing. Every single person in the band could sing lead vocals. The performance is still my favorite of all time. I predicted at the time that she would become a big star. So far, that hasn't happened. Someone in Nashville needs to open their eyes and ears and sign this girl to a major deal. Maggie is a great singer. She is an amazing entertainer. I wish she would come back.
