Nebraska Says That Legal Weed In Colorado Is Draining Their Budget

You you have ever driven through Nebraska you know that the state is rather boring. I mean, there is nothing wrong with that, I am just saying there isn't a lot to do. So, what do you do when you are bored? I guess you whine about what your neighbors are doing? 

A news station in Omaha, Nebraska, ran a story entitled “Colorado's Marijuana Sales Draining Nebraska Budget.” It seems that since we legalized weed in Colorado, the cops in Nebraska have been busting so many people coming across the border with Colorado weed that they can’t afford to bust, jail and try them all.

Deuel County, Nebraska, Sheriff Adam Hayward even went as far as saying “One in every five cars, we are now finding something in there.” The sheriff explains they’ve caught a year’s worth of misdemeanor violators in just four months. By the time they pay for them to be housed, for them to be fed, and for their medical expenses, Nebraska is going broke, he says!

So, how about you fine the ever-loving you know what out of them and make some cash off of them, because I know not everyone of them they catch is broke. Or, even better yet, how about you just legalize pot like we did, make a ton of money, and don't have to worry about people bringing it illegally into your state anymore?!
