Please take a moment to remember these brave young men and their sacrifice for our great country. The original video of a soldier playing the National Anthem during prayer time in Afghanistan from the top of the barracks that was removed from YouTube last week was at the author's request. Which begs the question? Why? Anyway, let's bow our heads and pay our respect to these soldiers.

Army Staff Sgt. Wesley R. Williams - Died December 10, 2012 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom. Age 25, of New Carlisle, Ohio; assigned to 1st Battalion, 38th Infantry Regiment, 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, under control of the 7th Infantry Division, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash.; Died Dec. 10 in Kandahar, Afghanistan, of wounds caused by an improvised explosive device.

Navy Special Warfare Operator 1st Class Nicolas D. Checque - Died December 8, 2012 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom. Age 28, of Monroeville, Pa.; assigned to an East Coast-based Naval Special Warfare unit; Died Dec. 8, near Kabul, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered while supporting combat operations.
