National Geographic Announces Best Photos of 2011

One of my favorite ways to spend time on the internet is to flip through the photos submitted to National Geographic for their Best Photo of the Day contest. It’s also a great place to pick-up wallpapers for my computer screen. With 2011 in the rear view mirror, National Geographic has announced the best in the series and they are spectacular!

Here’s one of my favorite photos, capturing a dragonfly during a rain storm.
