National Armed Forces Day is coming up in May and a holiday not everyone celebrates but for those of who do, and ride, it's a day to never forget. Thank a Vet!

The National Armed Forces Day FreedomRide - Colorado takes place along with many other states on Saturday, May 17th.  It's a day to get out and raise money for past, current and future Veterans.

This years ride Colorado FreedomRide starts at the Platte River Bar & Grill (5995 S. Sante Fe Drive, Littleton) at 0730. You can save money registering early for only $15 per rider/driver (Bike or Vehicle) and $5 for each passenger.  Cost goes up to $25 and $5 the day of the ride.

Breakfast burritos will be available and stops will be appropriate for the day including a stop at Fort Logan National Cemetery. The run will end back at the Platte River Bar & Grill for raffle items, a live auction and lots more.

The event although largely consists of motorcycles, it is an open event to anyone who wants to come show their support for out Veterans.  All proceeds will benefit American Military Family and also Blue Star Mothers of Colorado.
