Nashville Minute – Tuesday, March 1, 2016

Carrie Underwood celebrates her son's first birthday, the Zac Brown Band announces their 2016 U.S. tour, and Jake Owen is taking a ride on the love bus.  Getting you caught up with the news of Nashville with the Nashville Minute for Tuesday, March 1st.  

Carrie Underwood’s son, Isaiah, celebrated his first birthday this past weekend. Apparently they went with the fish theme for Isaiah’s birthday cake!  Isaiah is “O ‘fish’ ally ONE!” Someone has a Pinterest account, I’m looking at you Carrie.  Shortly after Carrie posted a picture of Isaiah’s SMASH cake. I wish having a smash cake in adulthood was acceptable.

The Zac Brown Band will be hitting the road this spring on their sixth headlining U.S. tour.  It’ll be called “Black Out the Sun 2016 Tour” and will kick off in Connecticut on May 19^th.  The Zac Brown Band will be brining Drake White and The Big Fire along as the openers.

Jake Owen is hitting the road in a love bus!  I know what you’re thinking, I thought it too, but Jake recently bought a fully-restored 1966 VW bus which he’s taking on a road trip to meet some of his fans.  Jake says in a video posted on his Facebook page “I had this exciting idea to spread love as much as I can, spread positivity. Which all of ya'll out there know over the years that I like to spontaneously interact with my fans and friends out there on the road."
