My Memorial Day Speech – Brian’s Blog [VIDEO]

I have had the honor of winning a lot of awards and giving a lot of speeches in my career but nothing has come close to the honor I had on Sunday. I was the keynote speaker for the memorial service at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Greeley and it was such a thrill. This was, without a doubt, the easiest speech I have ever given. To get to speak of my love for my country and the men and women who defend it was an easy task for me.
I was so excited to get to the podium that I could hardly sleep the nights leading up to it. I was so proud to stand there and express my gratitude and tell my story. When I finished and received the ovation I got and the comments from vets afterward I was filled with pride.

Thank you to all who attended. This is a memory I will cherish forever. God bless our men and women in uniform and a big thank you to all who were responsible for giving me this once in a lifetime opportunity. I am a grateful American. Thank you to Jenny Harding for capturing the speech on video. Check it out here.
