My First Ronnie Dunn Experience

I can still remember sitting in my office in 1991 when I got a call from my representative from Arista records telling me he had something I had to hear. I, as usual, was skeptical. What record rep doesn't tell you they have the next big thing? I put the CD single of "Brand New Man" in the player to listen to this new act called Brooks & Dunn. I was blown away by the voice coming out of my stereo. It had a southern preacher sound vocally and a unique turbo tonk beat that just grabbed me. I was not alone as the first four single all went to number one on the charts. 21 years later that voice still has a hold on me.

Ronnie has now set off on a new solo adventure and is bringing that show to us in just a couple of weeks. The history of country music cannot be written without Ronnie Dunn. Come get a history lesson and a taste of the current and future flavor of country music with us on August 16th.
