Every night before bed I get my lunch bag ready for the next day of work. I put all my pills and meds in there, throw in a couple pieces of fruit and oatmeal and all the things I will need for the morning. The joy I get each day is opening it up when I get to work and seeing what my daughter and grandson Zander have snuck in there. I believe they wait for me to go to bed each night and plan what to surprise me with.

I have opened my pill container to find a Cheerio in with pills because my daughter heard they were good for your heart. I have received a potato with my name on it. A penguin was waiting for me earlier in the week and today I was greeted by a finger monkey.

It is the littlest of things but it sure makes my day. It doesn't take much to make someone smile. Just knowing that someone was thinking of them and wanted to make them smile can do wonders for the soul. Thank you family for keeping me grinning. Drop a note or finger monkey in your loved ones lunch box today and giggle.
