Holly's Tips at the Mulligan's Pub
Mulligan’s Pub and Sports Club in Fort Collins has a great menu and drink selection. They are under new management so if you’ve been in before, make sure and visit them again since they have added new menu items and changed up some recipes, including the fish and chips! My personal favorite is the Irish Nachos, yum, yum! Owners, Louis and Farra were very friendly and fun to hang out with. Arty, who has been bar-tending at Mulligan’s for six years made me a Mexican Mule and a Mulligan Mule. One has tequila and the other one is made with vodka. Both were equally good, but you know I’m a tequila girl so I’m partial to the Mexican Mule. When I was checking out the place I went over to the sports club side which I never knew was over there. They have pool tables, dart boards and a shuffleboard. Plus lots of TV’s to watch football and the UFC fights. Yep, NFL and college ball is here and they’ve got great specials during the Bronco and CSU games…okay, okay, and for all of the other games too for all you Packer fans in town! Mulligan’s is also one of very few places in town that feature all UFC fights with no cover charge. Stop into Mulligan’s Monday through Friday from three to six and again eleven to close for $1 off drafts, wells and wine. Then stop in over the weekend for their $4 bloody mary bar.
