Moose Tranquilized Near Boot Grill in Loveland and Relocated
A baby moose was spotted off the Crossroads exit on I-25 Sunday morning and had to be tranquilized after a three-hour stand-off with wildlife rangers and police.
According to the Coloradoan, the female yearling was shot with a tranquilizer at about 11 a.m. right behind the Boot Grill in Loveland. Six Colorado Parks and Wildlife rangers and Colorado State Patrol troopers lifted her into a trailer.
The moose was released late Sunday near Cameron Pass. It’s not clear where she came from.
