Monday has taken a hold today of almost everyone, team that up with the first real work day since springing our clocks forward and you have a nearly miserable combination.

I got up this morning and nearly fell on my face, took a shower and froze till almost the levels of hypothermia, couldn't find my hair combing device and had to go to the doctor.

I got to the doctors fifteen minutes early, they got me in for my blood draw fast and then I waited and waited and ... wait for it... waited some more. I asked the front desk representative about my visit and mentioned my confusion with having to see the doctor. I said that I had to get to work and thought that I was just there for a fasting blood draw? (HELLO, this means I haven't eaten in 12 whole hours) I was told that I had to see the doctor as my former doctor had left the office and the new doctor had to see me, if I left I would not be getting a refill of my meds. I wanted to say, 'if I want my prescription refilled I have to wait, if I leave you won't refill my BLOOD PRESSURE medicine, do you want me to crock?" Obviously, you know me better than that, I didn't say what I was thinking, but I did think that.

I did wait and contacted my boss in case I was late. Good news on this Monday, she was nice and quick. (but they still weighed me-this should not be done on a Monday morning, just saying) And why is it okay for them to say sorry when they are running 30 plus minutes behind and we have to reschedule if we are five minutes late? BTW, I did feel a bit like a prisoner cause the BP meds are kind of an important thing for a woman diagnosed with hypertension... sorry, I'm apparently not quite over the ordeal yet. And thank goodness and hash browns for a great boss.

Wait, it doesn't stop there... a block from work I had a bloody nose. I don't think that I have ever had one in my adult years. What was that about... so blood, I know that is gross, but it was everywhere and I had to walk in the building like that, not one tissue in the car... oh boy. Happy Monday!

I have made it a point not to leave the studio since cleaning myself up, thank you Drew for the box of tissues.

I can't even go on about the time change, I don't like it and I am surrounded by clocks that tell me it's an hour earlier than it is in half the places I look. If I have a small fry from the local fast food place and my trainer isn't nearby, will she know? :)
