Miss Colorado 2015 Kelley Johnson Featured in Cosmopolitan Magazine

The 2016 Miss America Competition is less than a month away and my wife and I can't wait. Our friend Kelley Johnson is Miss Colorado 2015. The Miss America Pageant will be broadcast live on Sunday, September 13th from Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall on the ABC Television Network.

Kelley is from, Windsor, CO, although she graduated from Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins. We have known her mom, Julie, and her step-dad Gene for nearly two decades. One of the highlights of my summer, was when Kelley joined me on stage to introduce Kenny Rogers and Ronnie Milsap at Greeley Stampede. Brian and I also were also the 1st radio interview Kelley did after she was crowned.

Very recently, Miss Colorado was featured in an article in "Cosmopolitan Magazine" titled, "20 Perfectly Beyond-Over-the-Top Pageant Earrings Worn by This Year's Miss America Hopefuls". Kelley was #4 on that list. The picture of her wearing the earrings is to the right.
