Miranda Lambert is without a doubt my favorite female artist. I look forward to each project she does to see if she can top the previous one. I think each album she has done is better than the one before. Well she has done it again. Her latest album "Platinum" is her best work yet. What an array of fantastic songs. There is a little bit of everything on this baby.

From the opening cut "Girls" to the final track "Another Sunday in the South", Miranda takes us on a musical journey of styles and topics. A few highlights are the very sassy "Little Red Wagon" an ode to Priscilla Presley called "Priscilla" the gorgeous "Smokin' and Drinkin'" featuring the harmonies of Little Big Town and the vaudevillian "Gravity is a B***h." It has been fun watching a huge star get even better as time goes by and Miranda is doing just that. Do your ears a favor and pick up the latest from Miranda. It also features the number one hit "Automatic" and the current smash duet with Carrie Underwood "Somethin' Bad."
