Darius Rucker is once again hosting the ACM Lifting Lives Golf Classic; Miranda Lambert has launched her line of Mutt wear and Cam sings on a movie soundtrack. Here's your Nashville Minute for Wednesday, March 16th.

Darius Rucker will be back to host the ACM Lifting Lives Golf Classic for the fifth consecutive year as part of the events surrounding the 51st ACM Awards in Vegas next month. The event will happen at the TPC Las Vegas golf course on April 2nd and will have appearances from top country musicians. The tournament benefits the ACM Lifting Lives’ Diane Holcomb Emergency Relief Fund, which provides immediate relief to those in need within the music industry.

Miranda Lambert is not just an enormous talent on the stage, but she uses her celebrity to help the furry members of our society. Yesterday Miranda announced that in partnership with Petmate she has created a collection where every purchase will help fund the rescue and adoption programs of the MuttNation Foundation.

“The collection will include apparel, bedding, collars, feeding and watering products, leashes, and toys, all of which possess a country chic/rock ‘n’ roll feel that exudes Miranda’s personality and look. The new line will also contain six plush puppies, Rescue Mutts, all of which are based on real-life rescue dog stories.”

By now you have seen the previews for Miracles from Heaven that opens today in theaters. It's the movie with the little girl who has an illness then falls out of a tree and is fine again. While you are crying through this film, there will be a familiar voice singing Here Comes the Sun, and that would be Cam!
